Market and Innovation Uptake
During the SMI2G2024 event on May 22-23 in Paris three panel discussions were organized. The Market and Innovation Uptake panel addressed the context of the current EU’s funding programme for research and innovation in HEU CL3, Civil Security for Society.
The panel gathered a group of high-level specialists with complementary background and expertise that provided their views and perspectives on topics like:
What barriers are most common in reaching high Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) and how to surpass them effectively?
How can we better integrate market readiness assessments into the development stages of security research to ensure a smoother market transition?
How can collaboration among academia, industry, and institutions be structured to enhance the commercial viability of security innovations?
The panelists shared lessons learned and experiences accumulated from interacting with numerous entities operating in the research and innovation fields, and these are summarized in a White Paper.
The White Paper can be downloaded from the SMI2G2024 event page on CMINE, like all other pitches and presentations: https://lnkd.in/gKJVhvAm.
Marco Manso led the panel discussion and editing of the White Paper.
